Saskatchewan Soccer understands that the beautiful game, or soccer, is loved by many around the world, and right here at home. Canada welcomes many new residents and Saskatchewan Soccer welcomes those new residents to its membership. Saskatchewan Soccer encourages its Member Organizations to actively engage newcomers to participate in soccer and offers resources to increase the engagement and inclusion of newcomers in the game.

Saskatchewan Soccer has engaged the services of Cultural Bridges Inc., a Saskatoon based consulting firm dedicated to building connections between cultures and contributing to the creation of a more global understanding of the world we live in, to create a guide that provides recommendations and tips to Member Organizations who are interested to increase the participation of newcomers within their organization. The guide includes lots of practical tips that are useful to Member Organizations!

The Newcomer Engagement & Inclusivity webinar shares information to be considered in engaging newcomers and creating inclusion within your Member Organization. Thank you to Malvina Rapko, owner of Cultural Bridges Inc, for sharing your knowledge.

The following is a list of Saskatchewan-based settlement agencies and Open Door Societies. They are great organizations to partner with to engage newcomers and provide useful connections to local resources.
